Dear Santa,
I find it difficult to express how much your visit meant to all
the people gathered at Chatters on December 26th. Everyone was so excited
to see you and very surprised that you would take the time on your way back
to the North Pole just to see us. Your visit really enhanced our Christmas
celebration and made the day for the youngsters (and oldsters).
We would also like to thank Mrs Claus, Ralph the Elf and Nick Jr. They
truly looked the part and were wonderful. Actually, if I were asked to
create a picture of how Santa and Mrs Claus were to look (and act) you would
both fill the part exactly.
I have to admit, that I was a bit nervous, having just taken your name
from the newspaper and not meeting or seeing you in person but your emails
were so family friendly and genuine that I felt at ease. Of course, once I
met you and heard your famous HO HO HO, nothing would ever cause me to not
highly recommend you again.
You were prompt and entered the building without anyone seeing you.You
were so pleasant to the older people as well as the young children. One
gentleman had his back to the door as you entered. He was visibly
moved by the reaction on the faces of the young children.
He felt that for him, that moment encompassed all that Christmas is about
for young children which is the spirit of Christmas and the belief
in the giving process.
Our family as you saw it has grown so much over the years. The parents
present, (mostly cousins) were originally the youngsters and have now done
such wonderful jobs to impart the Christmas tradition to their own children.
We started the party about three at our house, and continued to midnight.
Due to busy lives, we do not get together often but we sure make the best of
the time we had.
We do have some terrific pictures of you and the children. My brother
in law has them and will forward me a disc of them. I would like to send
some to you and as long as the parents give me their permission, I will do
so.
Thank you again Santa, Mrs Claus and elves. You helped to make this
years Family Christmas an extremely memorable one.
